Storytime at Seekonk Public Library
Our storytimes apply the five key principles of early literacy--reading, talking, singing, writing, and playing--to develop prereading skills in a fun, interactive environment.
Preschool Storytime for ages 3 - 5, Tuesdays at 10 AM
Preschool storytime encourages children to engage with stories, sing songs, and participate in activities to spark curiosity and promote a love of books! Younger siblings are welcome too.
No registration required. Please bring your SAILS library card so you can bring home more books to keep building those early literacy skills.
Toddler Storytime for ages 18 Months - 3, Wednesdays at 10 AM
This weekly storytime will include reading a few books, followed by music, activities, movement, and yes, even bubbles!
No registration required. Please bring your SAILS library card so you can bring home more books to keep building those early literacy skills.
Baby Storytime for ages 0 - 18 Months, Thursdays at 10 AM
Babies, Books, and Belly Time. Bring a small blanket for your baby to sit on and enjoy a short story followed by music, fingerplays, and movement activities. After storytime, stay for a relaxed play session. Babies can enjoy belly time, which is great for building neck and shoulder strength, crawling through a tunnel, exploring toys, and looking through board books.
No registration required. Please bring your SAILS library card so you can bring home more books to keep building those early literacy skills.
