The Friends of the Seekonk Public Library accepts your gently used material donations for ongoing fundraising sales. Materials must be clean and undamaged, in re-sale condition. Items include materials for adults, children and teens:
- Hardcovers & Paperbacks
- Picture books and puzzles
- Magazines (not older than 3 months)
- DVDs (featured movies & tv programs) in original containers
- Music CDs
Due to disposal issues we cannot accept:
- Nonfiction older than 5 years
- Magazines older than 3 months
- National Geographic magazines
- Abridged/condensed books & audiobooks
- Textbooks/Workbooks/Encyclopedias
- VHS and cassette tapes
Local recycling/donation resources for unaccepted materials include
- Savers (books & media in good condition)
- Town of Seekonk Recycling (magazines, paperbacks only)
All donated items become the property of the Friends of the Seekonk Public Library.
