Unfortunately, some of our summer programs for tweens and teens crashed unexpectedly, but this September it’s time for “System Update: Teen Programs Restored!”
Okay, enough silly computer puns. The point is, this September we’re reviving two of the exciting programs that were canceled during the summer--Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit and the Escape Room Party. Sign up now to reserve your spot!
The library is closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Join us for the 4th Annual Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit event for tweens and teens! We’ll split up into four teams to play the official Trivial Pursuit: World of Harry Potter Ultimate Edition and test our knowledge of all eight movies (sorry, it’s NOT based on the books!). Snacks will be provided.
(POST-)End of Summer Escape Room Party for Tweens & Teens

Riddles, ciphers, brain teasers--test your wits at this end of summer party for tweens and teens. In pairs or small groups, you’ll work together to solve your choice of mini-escape room puzzles from BreakoutEDU. Themes will range from the American Revolution, to Julius Caesar, botany, and more. Wrap up your summer at the library with a little code cracking, puzzle solving, and--of course--snacks and prizes!
Teen Advisory Board

Your opinion matters! If you’re in grade 6 through 12, then you have a chance to make a difference at your library by joining the Teen Advisory Board (TAB). During the school year, we will meet once a month at 3:30 PM to share ideas about upcoming programs and discuss how we can make the most out of the library’s services for tweens and teens.
